Role Overview
The Oracle SCM Cloud Security Lead will be responsible for
leading the design, implementation, and support of Oracle SCM Cloud
applications while ensuring robust security and compliance. This role combines
functional expertise in SCM processes (Procurement, Inventory, Order
Management, Manufacturing, and Logistics) with specialized ownership of SCM
security design, role-based access control, and governance. The lead will
partner with business stakeholders, solution architects, and IT security teams
to deliver secure and efficient supply chain solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Leadership
- Lead
Oracle SCM Cloud implementations and enhancements across Procurement,
Inventory, Manufacturing, Order Management, and related modules. - Collaborate
with business process owners to gather requirements, define functional
solutions, and align Oracle SCM configurations with business needs. - Provide
SME (Subject Matter Expert) guidance on SCM processes, system
capabilities, and best practices. - Coordinate
with technical teams for extensions, integrations, and reporting related
to SCM Cloud. - Manage
testing cycles (SIT, UAT) and support business cutover and go-live
activities.
Security & Compliance
- Define
and manage SCM-specific security roles, data access models, and duty
privileges. - Establish
segregation of duties (SoD) controls within SCM Cloud modules and monitor
for conflicts. - Drive
governance policies for SCM user access, periodic recertifications, and
audit compliance. - Partner
with enterprise IT security to integrate SCM Cloud with Oracle Identity
Cloud Service (IDCS), SSO, and OCI security standards. - Support
internal and external audits by providing access logs, SoD reports, and
remediation plans.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Act
as primary liaison between SCM business stakeholders and IT for both
functional and security-related initiatives. - Mentor
junior consultants and business users on SCM functionality and security
best practices. - Lead
workshops, training sessions, and change management activities for SCM
processes and security awareness. - Provide
leadership in ensuring security is embedded in all SCM Cloud solution
designs.
Required Skills & Experience
- 810%2B
years of Oracle SCM experience, with at least 35 years in Oracle Fusion
SCM Cloud. - Strong
functional expertise in Procurement, Inventory, Order Management, and
Manufacturing. - Proven
experience in Oracle Cloud security model, RBAC, SoD, and audit
compliance. - Hands-on
experience with SCM security configurations (roles, duty roles, data
access sets). - Excellent
communication skills to interact with business, audit, and technical
teams. - Ability
to balance functional solution delivery with compliance and governance
needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle
Certified Implementation Specialist Oracle SCM Cloud. - Knowledge
of Oracle Risk Management Cloud (RMC). - Experience
in regulated industries (Healthcare, Pharma, Public Sector, Financial
Services). - Familiarity
with OCI and Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS).
