Job Description

  • Minimum 5 to 7years of experience in Production Support & SAS Development.
  • Working knowledge on Scheduling tools like TWS (Tivoli)scheduler, Putty and Winscp.
  • Familiar with Release (promote) process, Batch Support (Daily, Weekly, Monthly) and strong sql/sas debugging skills
  • Knowledge in Shell scripting & MainFrame good to have.
  • ETL development using SAS Data Integration Studio 4.9 ETL toolset. Skilled in various DI transformations including Look-up, Loop, Transpose, Sort, Append, Rank, List Data, Extract, Table Loader, Merger, Split, SQL, SCD Type 1 & Type 2 Loader, Data Validation, Creating Custom Transformations,
  • Change Data Capture, managing indexes and constraints, using In-Database processing, verifying data quality settings,
  • Importing SAS Code, Deploying & Scheduling Jobs, chaining jobs, metadata promotion.
  • Experience in Base SAS, Advance SAS programming, SAS Macros and SQL and optimization techniques.

Experience in client facing roles, collaboration with different team members, customer communication and email Etiquette

Essential Skills

  • Statistical analysis: Identify patterns in data. This includes having a keen sense of pattern detection and anomaly detection.
  • Machine learning & Deep Learning : Hands on experience
  • Experience with Natural Language Processing techniques
  • Hands-on experience with SQL
  • Hands on in statistical software packages (e.g., R, Python, SAS or SPSS)
  • At least one cloud platform experience ( Eg. Azure , AWS or Google Cloud Platform )
  • Exposure to Natural Language Generation
  • Interpersonal skills: Communicate across a diverse audience across all levels of an organization.
