Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Salesforce Engineering Lead to champion and enhance delivery excellence across various agile teams and product suites. This position demands deep technical proficiency within the Salesforce platform, robust architectural insight, and leadership in managing distributed, global engineering teams.

Required Skills:

  • Practical expertise with Salesforce metadata architecture, understanding of governor limits, strategies for multi-org implementations, and knowledge of deployment mechanisms.
  • Demonstrated success in guiding engineering teams within Agile/SAFe frameworks.
  • Adept at working within global and multi-vendor delivery ecosystems.
  • Desired certifications: Platform Developer I & II, App Builder, and System Architect.
  • A minimum of 10 years in software engineering, with 5+ years dedicated to Salesforce platform development.
  • Strong coding skills in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Flows, Triggers, and various integration techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-cycle engineering efforts across Salesforce solutions, managing custom development, multi-cloud connectivity, and platform-level improvements.
  • Mentor and support developers in establishing standards for solution architecture, performance tuning, code reusability, and system scalability.
  • Oversee the entire development process-covering technical design, build, testing, deployment, and post-release support.
  • Make architectural calls on custom build versus configuration, upholding governance for Salesforce platform constraints and long-term maintainability.
  • Ensure high-caliber delivery through tools and technologies such as Apex, LWC, OmniStudio, Flows, and integration via REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Work in partnership with technical architects to validate and enhance system designs aligned with enterprise and business strategies.
  • Synchronize work with both onshore and offshore Scrum teams to deliver high-priority features efficiently and accurately.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders including Product Owners, Release Managers, DevOps teams, QA, and Architects to meet sprint objectives and release milestones.
  • Conduct code reviews, lead technical investigations, and oversee root cause assessments for production issues.
  • Design and manage reliable CI/CD pipelines utilizing platforms like Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, and Git.
  • Establish and encourage automated testing strategies, reinforcing solid continuous integration standards across all environments.
  • Closely track deployments, refine rollback strategies, and lead automation efforts in the release process.
  • Stay current with and integrate the latest Salesforce features, tooling options, and design approaches to boost development efficiency.
  • Continuously optimize performance by refining Apex code, SOQL queries, and enhancing UI component speed.
  • Foster a development culture centered around modular engineering, automation, and operational efficiency.
