Role:
The Deployment Engineer is an engineering-profile resource. He/she is appointed at the project initialization phase depending on the required skills and works under the responsibility of the Project Manager. It is also expected that he/she will be helping on the NAM/LATAM perimeter regarding incident management. (a team is in charge for MCO, located in MSC Cairo, this resource will act as an extension).
Time zone: Business hours Houston - may be located in Canada, or other Ameras countries.

Missions:

• Prepare the technical documentation required for site deployment (test plans, etc.),
• Provide technical guidance on aspects such as configuration settings and definition,
• Carry out product installation and commissioning operations in compliance with the schedule and commitments made
• Act, during the installation phase, as the technical point of contact for ICSC (Industrial Cybersecurity Service Centre - a Client service centre for which Orange Cyberdefense is the main subcontractor) and on-site stakeholders for the RUN phase regarding the relevant products
• At the end of the installation, present to system administrators and operators the functionalities and main commands necessary for operating the RUN solution package (knowledge transfer)
• Participate in progress review committees and ensure the implementation of the decisions taken there, from a technical perspective.
• Perform the various tests planned during contractual acceptance phases (VABF phase),
• Keep the Orange Cyberdefense Project Manager informed about the progress of the solution deployment.
• Can support the site during incidents as a local extension of the OCD troubleshooting services
• Liaise with the site and the CairoEgypt teams (MCO located in MSC Cairo) to insure quick incident troubleshooting and closing.
• When needed and if in the range of his/her technical ability, directly manage the incident locally, depending on the priority.

• Nice to have: Microsoft WSUS and Print, Postfix, Cybereason, Trellix AV, NTP, Tyrex KUB Cleaner, SIOTH, Silvershield, Syncovery, Cyber Operations,
• Future projects may involve other System, Network, and Cybersecurity technologies.
