Job Details

Description

We are looking for a skilled PC Technician to join our team on a contract basis in Houston, Texas. This role involves providing technical support for computer systems and devices, ensuring their optimal functionality within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintaining hardware, software, and network systems.

Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics and repairs on computer hardware, including PCs, Macs, and Apple devices.
Install, configure, and maintain various operating systems such as Linux and Windows.
Assist with the setup and deployment of approximately three to four machines daily.
Manage and maintain Active Directory accounts and permissions.
Provide support for backup technologies and ensure data integrity.
Collaborate with team leads to address technical issues and implement solutions effectively.
Conduct AB testing to verify system functionality and performance.
Handle cable installation and ensure proper connectivity across devices.
Support Dell and IBM technologies in the workplace environment.
Maintain accurate documentation of all technical processes and repairs.

Requirements

Proven experience in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
Familiarity with Dell, IBM, and Apple devices.
Knowledge of Linux and Mac operating systems.
Experience with Active Directory management.
Proficiency in backup technologies and data recovery processes.
Ability to perform cable installations and maintain network connectivity.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
