React Developer (Headless WordPress CMS)

We are seeking an experienced React Developer for a contract engagement to lead the rebuild of a new public-facing website. You will work with a team of both Marketing and Technical resources.

This is a high-impact role focused on rapidly delivering a modern, performant site using a headless CMS architecture with WordPress as the backend and React for the frontend.

The ideal candidate has direct experience building public websites in this stack, allowing them to hit the ground running and deliver results quickly. This is a 6-month contract.

You can work remotely from anywhere in the US, but must work EST hours.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 4+ years in React to create and launch public websites
  • Experience using Headless Wordpress CMS as the backend
  • 6+ years of total years of software development experience
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Azure or other cloud exposure
  • Agile
