Role: Workday Integration Developer
Location: Atlanta, GA
Type: Contract-C2C OR W2
Mode of Work: Onsite
Job Summary:
The Workday Integration Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining integrations between Workday and other internal or third-party systems. This role requires strong technical expertise in Workday tools and a solid understanding of Workday Payroll, Absence and Time Tracking business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Integration Development
- Design and build integrations using Workday Studio, Workday Orchestrate, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST).
- Experience with converting Workday Studio to Orchestrate.
- Maintain and monitor integration performance and resolve errors.
- Ensure secure and compliant data exchange across systems.
- Support data migration and transformation processes.
Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements.
- Translate requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Participate in discovery workshops and process reviews.
Testing & Documentation
- Conduct unit and integration testing.
- Document integration designs, specifications, and deployment processes.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Support & Maintenance
- Troubleshoot and resolve Payroll & Absence Integration Issues
- Interacting with third part vendors like MetLife, ADP & UKG.
- Provide training and support to end-users.
- Stay updated with Workday releases and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Workday integrations.
- Proficiency in:
- Workday Studio
- Workday Orchestrate
- EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder)
- Core Connectors
- Web Services (SOAP/REST)
- XML, XSLT, XTT
- Experience with Payroll, Absence & Time Tracking
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with tools like Confluence, and version control systems
