Customer Acceptance Tester
Location: Remote
Client: IPS/USPS
Note: candidates meet the residency requirements (Last 5 years in the US with no more
than 6 months out of the country).
Role / Duties:
1. Test Execution: Perform test execution and provide ad hoc testing support. Work
hand-in-hand with the business owner and provide support, feedback, and test
results across all SDLC phases.
2. Test Scenario Creation: Develop and execute test scenarios to validate software
functionality and user requirements.
3. Defect Resolution: Collaborate with the development team to identify and address
software defects.
4. User Story Demonstration: Conduct user story demonstrations and showcase
software functionality to clients.
5. Quality Assurance: Ensure software quality meets specified expectations and
enhance customer satisfaction.
6. Cloud Environment Testing: Minimum of 2+ years of experience testing in a cloud
environment, preferably Azure.
7. Manual and Automated Testing: Run manual tests proficiently and incorporate
automated testing processes using tools like Selenium and UFT with VB script.
8. Documentation: Create clear and concise test plans, scenarios, and cases using
tools like HP ALM for effective communication.
9. Defect Reporting: Generate detailed defect reports to facilitate understanding of
software issues for team members.
10. Agile and DevOps Methods: Apply Agile and DevOps methodologies for flexible
software testing, utilizing tools like Version One.
11. System Life Cycle Understanding: Demonstrate a strong understanding of the
complete system life cycle for applications and operating systems.
12. Analytical and Communication Skills: Utilize strong analytical skills to analyze
computer processes, coupled with excellent communication skills for effective
collaboration with stakeholders, Solutions Architects, Product Owners, Managers,
and Developers.

5. 4. Client Interaction: Skilled in demonstrating software functionality to clients.
6. 5. Quality Assurance: Understanding of quality assurance principles for customer
satisfaction.
7. 6. Cloud Environment Testing: Minimum 2+ years testing experience in a cloud
environment, preferably Azure
8. 7. Test Automation: Proficiency in using automation tools like Selenium and UFT with

9. 8. Communication Skills: Strong communication and collaboration abilities with
