Lead Software Engineer - 2314690

JOB TITLE: Lead Software Engineer
LOCATION: 1 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)
DUTIES: Perform analysis of new business process requirements, feasible tools, framework identification, strategy planning, test cases identification and identifying and providing the best possible approach to fit the need in Revenue. Design, develop, customize and configure billing and revenue management systems. Analyze the current functionality for the application and performing POCs for implementing new features. Troubleshoot and identify system bugs and inefficiencies within existing systems and develop patches and fixes to support the system requirements. Manage system and application environments and support for the installs, configures, deploys, upgrades of the Oracle Billing and Revenue Management (ORMB) application. Provide technical guidance and assistance for the team to analyze, test the systems and troubleshoot critical program errors and bugs, and assisting business users for resolving problems during pre-implementation, system and component integration testing, user acceptance testing and postproduction roll out of the application. Assist with incidents and deliver problem ticket resolution. Drive modern technology transformation. Mentor and train direct junior developers. Assist with integrating the billing application with upstream and downstream applications. Provide technical expertise in performance tuning. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field and 8 years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Position requires 8 years of experience in the following: Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB); Java, JavaScript, and Oracle Database; SQL; Table Partitioning; Performance tuning; OBIEE, ODI and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM); UNIX and shell script; and PL/SQL and BI Publisher.
RATE OF PAY: $ 165,060.00 - $225,120.00 / per year
