Key Responsibilities
< data-start="573" data-end="610">Product Operations & Support</>Maintain the reliability, availability, and security of live production environments.
Monitor and troubleshoot production issues using Azure Application Insights, logs, and telemetry data.
Manage incident response, root cause analysis, and preventive maintenance for authentication services.
Support internal users authenticating via Entra ID and external customers via Ping Identity.
Collaborate with developers, architects, and project managers to design and deploy new authentication capabilities.
Build, test, and deploy new Azure components such as APIs, Function Apps, and Web Apps.
Participate in the transition of authentication services from Azure to a SaaS platform, ensuring secure and seamless integration.
Develop automation scripts, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC (Infrastructure-as-Code) using Azure DevOps and ARM templates.
Work within a Core Scrum Team sharing a unified Azure DevOps backlog and sprint cadence.
Support the Product Support Group, prioritizing live production stability while balancing project work.
Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
Role: The Systems Engineer joining our team will serve as the primary owner for all responsibilities within the Systems Engineering domain. This includes managing project pipelines, certificate management, Application Insights (login and monitoring), and performance oversight. This individual will be expected to proactively identify required tasks, assess priorities, and recommend the order in which they should be addressed. They will also play a key role in translating high-level objectives into detailed technical work, supporting me in defining and organizing the work breakdown, leveraging their deep technical understanding of what needs to be done.
