Engineering Manager Software Product Development (Only direct consultants)

Location: Dublin, OH Hybrid | Employment Type: Full Time

We re seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead software product development across globally distributed teams. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, strategic execution, and people leadership to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Mentor and manage global engineering teams.

  • Cultivate a culture of innovation, ownership, and collaboration.

Project & Process Oversight

  • Lead the full SDLC architecture to deployment.

  • Drive Agile, DevOps, and process efficiency initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with product, UX, and business teams to align on priorities.

  • Bridge communication across time zones and functions.

Technical & Operational Excellence

  • Guide system design and architecture reviews.

  • Ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.

  • Identify risks, manage resources, and support hiring needs.

Performance & Stakeholder Management

  • Set clear goals, evaluate performance, and support career growth.

  • Act as a point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring transparency and timely updates.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor s/Master s in CS, Engineering, or related field.

  • 5+ years in software engineering, 2+ years in leadership.

  • Proficient in Java 8+, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL.

  • Experience with ReactJS, Node.js, Python, TypeScript, Salesforce, Power BI, AWS.

  • Proven success with distributed teams and Agile practices.

  • Strong communication and decision-making skills.

Preferred:

  • DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes.

  • Experience in cross-cultural team collaboration.

  • Knowledge of compliance, security, and data privacy standards.
