Description

We are offering a role based in Boulder, Colorado, in the telecom sector. The position is for a Help Desk Analyst, providing IT support and ensuring the security of our laptop fleet. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:
Assist new employees, particularly those joining through acquisitions, in updating their Mac and Windows laptops
Troubleshoot and resolve end-user hardware/software problems
Deploy new tools for managing laptops, including software patching, mobile device management and endpoint security
Track end user requests in our service request ticket tracking system
Manage inventory of IT assets
Support both MacOS and Windows OS
Comfortably support remote co-workers
Experience in supporting Lenovo and Apple laptops
Adapt quickly to dynamic environments regarding technology and processes.
Experience with large scale deployments of new laptop security & antivirus tools
Proficiency in Microsoft, Active Directory, Desktop Hardware, Mac OS, and Google Suite

Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Demonstrated skills in Active Directory management and operations
Experience with Desktop Hardware, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Familiarity with Mac OS and its various applications
Proficiency in Google Suite including Google Docs, Sheets, and Drive
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Previous experience in a Help Desk Analyst role or similar IT support role is desirable
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on the latest technology trends and applications
Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to explain complex IT concepts to non-technical users.
