Project Manager
FedTec is seeking an experienced Project Manager III to support the implementation of an Invoice Tracking System replacement project. This role will coordinate across IT and business units to ensure the successful execution of project milestones and deliverables, with a focus on budget, scope, and schedule adherence.
Location: Austin, TX(Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with program and IT to implement Invoice Tracking System replacement project activities.
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle for the Invoice Tracking System replacement.
- Facilitate project meetings, monitor milestones, and track deliverables.
- Manage scope, budget, risks, and issues; escalate when necessary.
- Produce weekly project status updates and executive reporting.
- Ensure adherence to SDLC processes and coordinate between technical and business teams.
- Apply Agile project management methodologies and track team progress accordingly.
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and effective communication at all levels.
- Manage risks and issues, track project budget, manage project scope, complete various reporting, etc. to ensure the project is completed on time and under budget.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience in managing project with implementations across large organizations. Experience should include developing and managing project plans, documenting risks, issues, and contingency plans
- Ability to research, gather, assemble, correlate, and analyze facts; to devise solutions to problems; and to prepare concise reports and/or to analyze and solve complex and difficult problems
- Experience overseeing the development of SDLC artifacts, ensure business requirements get translated into technical specifications, guide, and facilitate the SDLC process
- Experience developing and maintaining strong relationships with multiple project sponsors and stakeholder. Must possess strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to appropriately summarize and escalate issues and develop and present weekly status updates and conduct regular project team meetings
- Agile methodology, overseeing and tracking development progress, and ensuring project assignments align with project timelines
- Experience implementing and using agile methodologies and best practices for 1 or more State of Texas Agencies(Preferred)
