DPP is seeking an IT Program Manager for an opportunity in Columbia, SC.

Work arrangement:
- Partial Onsite: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and as needed.
- W2 position; 12 months, with possibility of conversion to FTE.
- The IT Program Manager will be responsible for overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of large-scale project-oriented work efforts.
- You will be responsible for speaking and briefing at an executive level.
- You will be working with 10-15 Team Leads and 3 Project Managers.
- They will manage large multi-stream programs and projects, such as user interface, test/development, training, and some AI integrations.
- Windows applications (MS Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint Online, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Teams, etc.)
- PMP certification is highly preferred
- 7 years of IT experience in a leadership capacity, including 4 years leading multiple concurrent project teams.
- Completion of the Client Training Program for Project Management may substitute for one year of experience.
- Bachelor s degree;
- OR, Associates degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
- OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 11 years without a degree)
- Responsible for multiple work efforts of any size, from minimum complexity system/customer impacts to greater complexity system/customer impacts.
- Adheres to project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budgeted hours, adheres to high quality standards, and meets ISSM expectations.
- Monitors project plans, assignments and work efforts on a daily basis.
- Ensures resource needs are assigned appropriately and escalates functional, quality, timeline issues.
- Tracks key project milestones and adjusts project plans to meet the needs of work effort.
- Responsible for leading the project from inception to final business acceptance and implementation.
- Mentors other project leads and participates in the training and development of staff.
- Exceptional communications (verbal and written) skills with all levels of management and team members.
- Superior leadership skills in a team or project environment.
- Exceptional problem solving and conflict management/resolution skills.
- Highly effective analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent understanding of project management principles and methodologies, information systems, business processes, and the key drivers and measures of success for the business unit and the organization.
- Superior competency in management of resources to meet goals and multiple projects.
- Highly effective ability to lead multiple multidiscipline, high-performance work teams throughout project life cycle.
- Advanced ability to negotiate terms and scope of work documents.
- Advanced ability to prepare and present formal presentations to senior management.
- Proven ability to manage all phases of work effort from inception to completion.
- Highly effective strategic thinking skills.
- Proven effectiveness in conducting analysis of project triple constraints.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Fast-paced, dynamic environment which may require action and response 24X7 to support the technical business needs of the customer and where one must be flexible to changing priorities.
