JOB DESCRIPTION
- RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the development and maintenance of the enterprise architecture framework for healthcare systems and applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Build and maintain the business capability model and maintain the CMDB relationships in ServiceNow.
- Provide strategic leadership and technical expertise in the design and implementation of healthcare digital solutions, encompassing architecture, infrastructure, and integration.
- Define and document enterprise architecture principles, standards, and guidelines, and ensure their adoption across all IT projects and initiatives, and alignment with the governance process.
- Conduct architectural assessments and reviews of existing systems and applications, identifying opportunities for optimization, modernization, and consolidation.
- Develop architectural designs and specifications for new healthcare IT solutions, encompassing infrastructure, applications, data, and security.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring that solutions are implemented according to architectural standards and best practices.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and trends in the healthcare industry, and make recommendations for adoption based on their potential impact and value.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including healthcare providers, administrators, and 3rd party agencies to ensure that enterprise architecture considerations are integrated into all stages of the project lifecycle.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or related field.
- Master's degree preferred. Minimum 10 years in a related IT or Engineering discipline
- Strong knowledge of healthcare industry standards and regulations, such as HIPAA, HL7, DICOM, and FHIR.
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies, such as TOGAF, Zachman, or FEAF.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with executive stakeholders, technical teams, and business users.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex healthcare IT projects on time and within budget.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF Certified, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) preferred.
