Cyber Security Engineer

For this airline, we are looking to hire a Cyber Security Engineer who can be the hands on person to help implement, administer and manage a sophisticated collection of technical tools to protect the integrity of their systems. 

What we are looking for is someone who has:

1.     Network Security Experience

a.     Specific Key skills: Experience in design/management/operation of Palo Alto firewalls, Palo Alto Prisma Access, Prisma SaaS, Global Connect

2.     Web Application Firewalls

a.     Specific Key skills: F5 ASM, Fastly WAF, possibly Signal Sciences

3.     Knowledge of leveraging AI - executing on controlled access to AI tools and services

4.     A great attitude

5.     Would like to be part of a cutting edge team

6.     Has a wild desire to learn new technologies whenever possible

 

This is a long-term contract position – with an opportunity to convert to being a fulltime employee potentially in the future.  Our target rate as 1099 or corp.-to-corp. will be $95-$105/hr.  This is a 100% remote position (in the continental United States).  That being said, the client is located in the New York City area, and our client would prefer candidates on eastern standard time, and the occasional trip to NYC may be necessary in the future.
