Position: EDI Axway Support Specialist
Location: Conshohocken, Pennsylvania (4 days remote, 1day onsite) - Any nearby states will work
Duration: Contract
Pay Range: $35.20/Hr- $45.50/Hr
Must have: Axway B2B Integration, Axway Secure Transport, EDI Support, Axway API Management Platform

Nice to have : Scripting Languages (e.g., Python, Shell)
Monitoring tools like NewRelic, Splunk, Nagios

Job Overview:
As an EDI Axway Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) operations using Axway technology. This position involves supporting incident and change management activities, ensuring system stability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and implement changes. You will also focus on maintaining optimal performance of EDI systems and providing timely updates to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and respond to EDI-related incidents promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues within Axway systems, ensuring root cause analysis is performed and documented.
  • Escalate critical issues to appropriate teams while maintaining ownership until resolution.
  • Implement EDI configuration changes and partner setups following established change control processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure changes are tested and deployed with minimal disruption.
  • Use monitoring tools to proactively identify potential issues and address them before escalation.
  • Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on Axway systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Act as a liaison between business users, trading partners, and IT teams to resolve EDI-related issues.
  • Provide timely updates to stakeholders on incident status and resolution timelines.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, changes, and system configurations.
  • Generate regular reports on system performance, incidents, and changes for management review.
  • Focus on thread and heap utilization of the application stack to ensure optimal performance without the need to scale.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in EDI support, preferably with Axway technology (e.g., Axway B2Bi, SecureTransport).
  • Strong understanding of EDI communication protocols (e.g., AS2, FTP, SFTP).
  • Experience with community and partner-specific certificate management.
  • Proficiency in performing application upgrades and patch management with minimal downtime.
  • SQL skills for research into Axway application database tables.
  • Experience in incident and change management processes, preferably within an ITIL framework.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like NewRelic, Splunk, Nagios, or similar.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based EDI solutions or integrations.
  • Understanding of SOC2 and/or SOX audit compliance-related needs.
