Qualifications & Requirements:

• As a Senior Data Engineer within our AI & Data team, you will lead the development, validation, and migration of Big Data products and applications across large-scale Hadoop and Teradata clusters. You will play a critical role in designing and testing ETL processes, building data validation tools, and ensuring data quality across Wireless and Wireline systems. This role demands deep expertise in data architecture, cloud migration, and hands-on development in big data environments.
  Key Responsibilities
  
  • Lead design, development, and validation of data ingestion pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Perform data migration and conversion validation across platforms and applications.
  • Conduct data profiling, discovery, and quality assessments to identify anomalies and ensure integrity.
  • Develop transformation logic, interfaces, and reports to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and Developers on technical architecture and standards.
  • Design and implement automated test suites for end-to-end data pipeline validation.
  • Build tools to measure and visualize data quality and anomaly patterns.
  • Support project planning, validation strategy, and user acceptance testing.
  • Recommend tools and technologies to enhance validation processes.
  • Evaluate and improve existing methodologies and processes.
  • Engage with stakeholders to identify issues and contribute to resolution strategies.
  Required Qualifications
  
  • 10+ years of software development and testing experience.
  • 15+ years of Telecom data domain expertise with a strong data architecture background.
  • Proven experience in ETL development, real-time data processing, and analytics systems.
  • Proficiency in Spark SQL, Scala, and Hadoop-based big data environments.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in Big Data contexts.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  Preferred Qualifications
  
  • Experience working on large-scale projects.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.
  • Development of monitoring and alerting tools/utilities.
  • Familiarity with project management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
