Job Duties: Partner with data scientists, engineers, & business partners to build and deliver digital solutions. Develop data science models and ensure real-world operationalization. Responsible for design, development, programming methods, processes, & systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse "big data" sources to generate actionable insights and solutions across the company. Manage data lifecycle including ingestion, contextualization, feature engineering, & operationalization for large volumes of structured and unstructured data for analytics and insights. Develop software programs, algorithms and automated processes that cleanse, integrate, & evaluate large data sets from multiple disparate sources. Maintain accountability for model recommendations throughout the entire lifecycle of product development, implementation, & adoption to drive business impact. Analyze and map the complete patient journey across various touchpoints within the healthcare system, from initial diagnosis to post-treatment follow-up. Identify pain points and opportunities for improvement in patient experience. Work with all different claims data like Komodo, Definitive Healthcare, IQVIA, Clarivate, Acuity MD to identify total addressable market for medical devices used in Ambulatory Surgical Centers to increase business. Develop and refine predictive models that use patient biometrics to recommend the optimal size of knee and hip implants. Leverage machine learning algorithms and statistical analysis to improve accuracy with each surgery and customized to surgeon's preference. Develop and implement calibration algorithms for X-ray images to ensure accurate scaling and measurements, accounting for factors such as image distortion and patient positioning. Ensure precise calibration to enable accurate medical analysis and implant prediction. Develop and maintain automated ML pipelines in SageMaker to streamline the entire process of model training, validation, & deployment. Develop and implement time series models, including Prophet and ARIMA, to accurately forecast surgeon-specific monthly procedure volumes, ensuring model performance monitoring, data quality, & effective communication of insights to support strategic planning and operational decisions.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Applied Statistics, Biostatistics, Operations Research, Mathematics, or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Data Scientist-related occupation.
