Professional Engineer (SCADA / Railway Signaling)

Job Title: Professional Engineer ( SCADA or Railway Networking )

Location: Sacramento, CA (Onsite) OR McClellan Park, CA (Onsite)

Role/Responsibilities

• Certify the Design: Due to the geography of the project, some designs must be sealed and signed in the State of California, some in the State of Nevada, and some in both.
• Ensure Regulatory Compliance to all relevant and applicable international, local, state/provincial, and federal codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., building codes, railway industry standards, electrical or safety standards).
• Maintain Design Integrity.
• Oversee Quality and Safety.
• Provide Professional Expertise.
• System Engineering: This includes specific strategies, plans and concepts, (for example Earthing & Bonding Concept, Earthing & Bonding Plan, RAMS etc.) including all studies (for example Traction Load Flow and Short Circuit studies)
• Traction Power System (TPS): TPS consists of outdoor High Voltage (HV) Intake Substations, Traction Power Substations (TSS) [types TSS, Autotransformer Station Paralleling Point (ATS-PP) and Autotransformer Station Sectioning Point (ATS-SP)] and 12kV Auxiliary Power Substations.
• Static Phase Converters (SPC).
• Overhead Catenary System (OCS).
• Power SCADA.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or related discipline or equivalent.
• Person must be a Licensed Professional Engineer (Utility) in the States of California and Nevada
