Qualifications
Required Education and Skills:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Working towards completing applicable vendor/platform certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Sun Certified Professional (SCP), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), other)
- One (1) year of Computerized System experience, to include: Network Protocols, and UNIX and Windows based operating system.
- Familiarity with hardware, software, and programming languages.
- Ability to analyze data, identify problems, and develop solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and find effective solutions.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Accuracy and precision when working with technical data and systems.
- Collaboration with other IT professionals and users.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security Clearance.
