Contract with our utility client in Portland, OR. Flexible in-office days Tue/Thu; some site visits will be required. This position has the opportunity for an extension or FTE. Pay is $72/hr plus we offer great benefits! Come work with us today!

Description

This role offers creative, business savvy, customer-minded individuals the opportunity to develop Transportation Electrification products and services that will delight customers while helping us achieve our strategic objectives and priorities. Products could include demand response programs, web tools, payment options, pricing plans, technology offerings (electric vehicle infrastructure), etc.

The team consists of ~12 people working to create and support programs that support electrification of transportation by providing incentives and rebates to make the transition easier and more cost effective.

This role would support a research and development project on fleet managed charging. This includes participation and coordination of up to 6 pilot demonstrations to test the outcomes of the study. Then this role would make recommendations using info gathered from the study and demos to make program development recommendations on how we can best implement with our customers.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Develop pilot and project plans to research viability, plan and implement demonstrations to test out a new product for commercial customers.
  • Project manages the development of assigned new products and services, coordinating stakeholders in the development of the new product or service offering.
  • Assemble project teams to assist in the development and delivery of the new product or service, including marketing, training, and post-launch resource plans.
  • Adhere to project and product development methodologies for governance, measurement, and evaluation.
  • Lead RFP process on assigned projects as needed.
  • Manage relationships and performance contracts with vendors.
  • Develop and effectively manage program development budgets, review and report on program revenue and expenses monthly.
  • Prepare presentations and related communications for executives and external audiences.
  • There would be a high level on interaction with TE fleet teammates, Grid Edge, and IT.
  • Participate in and help coordinate up to 6 managed charging demonstrations with lens of future product development of pilots and programs.
  • Working with brand new technology, potential integrations, complex data sets, and learning who to contact within the company

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required

  • Is utilities experience required? Preferred
  • Education Requirements (Experience in Lieu of Degree): of professional experience with a 4-year degree in business, economics, marketing, communications, or similar field.
  • Demonstrated product development and marketing experience that showcases an understanding of how to engage customers and evaluate programs.
  • Working knowledge of finance and accounting principles related to utility program implementations preferred.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Self-starter, capable of operating at a high level of autonomy.
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication skills to write concise reports, deliver high quality presentations, negotiate contracts, facilitate meetings, deliver presentations, and prepare project documentation.
