Job Title: UX Content Designer

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 months (Contract-to-Hire)

Team: Consumer Team

Experience Level: Mid-Level (3-5 years)

Education: Bachelors degree

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Content Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with designers to create customer-focused content that leads the design process. You will work on a variety of projects, including member-facing portals and payment systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with product designers, managers, researchers, and developers to create user-centric copy.
  • Write and optimize microcopy, instructional text, and other UX elements.
  • Develop and execute content strategies for public websites and customer portals.
  • Support content style guides and best practices for consistent messaging.
  • Participate in user research and leverage data-driven insights to enhance content.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and industry standards for content.
  • Adapt to changing project timelines and requirements.
  • Develop and document content and information architecture for smooth user flows.

Projects:
  • Member-facing portal
  • Payment systems (one-time payment flow, payment hub enhancements)
  • Claims experience redesign
  • Contact preference experience
  • Find care experience

Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Figma
  • Strong writing skills in Word
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Jira, and other design tools
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus

Portfolio:
  • Must showcase a personal website reflecting your personality.
  • Emphasis on accessibility and clear content hierarchy.

Interview Process:
  • Initial phone screen
  • Panel interview with 4 team members
