Project Manager

Title: Project Manager 2
Location: Hybrid Austin, TX (onsite as needed)

This role supports a variety of technology and innovation projects that directly impact operational efficiency, compliance, and service delivery. The Project Manager will oversee the initiation, planning, and delivery of complex projects, guiding teams through established project management practices while ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to scope and budget. The position requires strong leadership in managing diverse stakeholders, translating technical requirements, and driving solutions that meet organizational goals.

Your role:

• Manage multiple projects using standard project management methodologies, performing risk assessments, and adhering to established tracking and reporting processes.
• Oversee project activities to ensure deliverables meet quality, business, and contractual requirements, and are delivered on time and within budget.
• Facilitate communication of complex technical and business issues to stakeholders in clear, actionable terms.
• Support the development and implementation of new initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, compliance, and service delivery.
• Collaborate with development and project teams to ensure alignment with agency objectives and best practices.
• Contribute to quality assurance discussions and promote continuous improvement in processes and project outcomes.

What you ve got:

• At least 3 years of experience applying Agile and other project management methodologies.
• Minimum 3 years leading large, complex technology-focused projects.
• Minimum 3 years developing and analyzing detailed business requirements.
• Strong stakeholder communication and facilitation skills.
• Preferred: 1 year or more understanding of software development lifecycles.
• Preferred: 1 year or more experience documenting business technology challenges.
