The Opportunity
As an Advisory National - AI Engineering Co-Op Intern, you will engage in the dynamic field of data science and machine learning engineering, contributing to innovative projects that harness the power of artificial intelligence. As an Intern, you will support teams by participating in projects, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. You will perform basic tasks and conduct research while observing professional work environments, developing your personal brand in the process.
In this role at PwC, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of data science and machine learning tools, to build and refine data models and pipelines. You will be part of a collaborative team that values diverse perspectives and encourages a learning mindset. Responsibilities
- Supporting teams in the development and implementation of AI and machine learning projects
- Participating in data modeling and data engineering tasks to organize and manage complex datasets
- Assisting in the design and execution of predictive modeling and statistical analysis using tools like R and MATLAB
- Engaging in data mining and natural language processing to extract insights from large data sets
- Contributing to the creation and maintenance of data pipelines for efficient data flow and processing
- Collaborating with team members to apply programming languages such as C++ and Python in project development
- Observing and learning from experienced professionals to enhance understanding of data science workflows
- Applying data-driven decision-making techniques to support project goals and client needs
- Utilizing libraries to develop machine learning models and algorithms
- Conducting research and analysis to support the advancement of artificial intelligence initiatives
What You Must Have
- Preference for one of the following field(s) of study: Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Programming, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Systems Engineering
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
- Client service intern positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application. This role is four to six months in durationnal year of school

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
