Description APPLE PROCESSING LLC has the following available in Austin, Texas. APPLE PROCESSING LLC is a subsidiary of Apple Inc. Develop new critical features and fix existing bugs for payment systems in multiple programming languages, such as Kotlin or Typescript, to meet the business, compliance, and legal requirements from partner teams. Maintain and optimize REST and gRPC APls for internal and external teams, scale services as needed to meet the required service-level agreements. Design new systems or improvements to existing systems by implementing database normalization, executing data migration strategies that align with industry best practices, and utilizing appropriate data structures to process financial data. Create technical documentation detailing engineering decisions and code architecture to facilitate integration with other teams and provide operational support. Apply algorithmic concepts to improve overall code quality and maintainability, while reducing technical debt and enhancing readability through software design patterns. Design, implement and support highly scalable systems and services in Java, Scala and/or other JVM-based languages. Participate in design sessions and code reviews with peers to elevate the quality of engineering across the organization. Communicate thoughtfully and collaborate cross-functionally, leveraging problem-solving skills and a learning mindset to build long-term relationships. 40 hours/week.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience and/or education must include:
• Java, Kotlin, Scala, or other JVM-based languages.
• Relational database technologies including SQL, NoSQL or NewSQL.
• REST or gRPC web API framework.
• Git and GitHub distributed version control or similar
• Public Cloud Platforms (AWS or Google Cloud Platform).
• Deployment with Docker and Kubernetes.
• React, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Unix or Linux tools.
