RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately adding a full-time Field Service Engineer in support of our nationally recognized, Consumer and Commercial Electronic R&D client in Burbank, CA.

Overview:
As a skilled technical specialist with an electrical or mechanical background. The Field Service Engineer plays a critical role in delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to our customers. This position requires expert-level knowledge, independent judgment, and initiative to resolve complex technical issues and contribute to the development of new service techniques and concepts.

Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by understanding and addressing customer needs effectively
* Respond promptly to customer issues, providing guidance and escalating when necessary per established protocols
* Deliver hardware support across all our press fleet
* Provide proactive and reactive services for mission-critical customers
* Monitor system performance and implement corrective actions as needed
* Contribute customer insights and industry trends to account support planning
* Mentor and coach new team members on processes and best practices
* Support account growth and retention through superior service and relationship management

REQUIREMENTS:
* Technical skills - experience with electric or mechanical
* Basic computer and OS knowledge
* Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to maintain and log all worked time in addition to taking extensive notes
* Exceptional customer relationship-building skills
* Ability to perform under high-pressure situations with strong problem-solving, planning, and negotiation skills
* Leadership and coaching capabilities for field technical support teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
