As a summer intern within the Auto Customer Care organization at Ally, you will play a key role in an initiative focused on reducing inbound call volume through effective call deflection strategies. This high-impact project is designed to improve the customer experience while increasing operational efficiency across our service channels.

- Attend Orientation, Executive Speaking Series, and learning sessions as an Intern cohort
- Participate in Mentoring Program and Giving Back Events

- Lead an end of assignment presentation
The Details:
- Internship Program Timing: May 26 - August 7, 2026
- 40 hours each week with a mix of in-office and remote working days
- Project-based work
- Market competitive hourly compensation and a sign-on bonus, as well as financial housing assistance for those who qualify
- Successful interns will have the opportunity to return to Ally in an Early Talent Program or full-time role, or to a second internship, depending upon graduation timing.

Consumer Banking is all about the customer. As a summer intern within the Auto Customer Care organization at Ally, you will play a key role in an initiative focused on reducing inbound call volume through effective call deflection strategies. This high-impact project is designed to improve the customer experience while increasing operational efficiency across our service channels.
Intern Key Experiences:
- Perform data analysis and upkeep of reporting functions within the Invest Client Services department, including tracking of various metric data across all Service associates.
- Assist with various functions related to Risk, Testing and Monitoring, and Audit up to and including defect validation, communication to leadership and remediation planning.
- Assist with planning and execution of engagement and process improvement efforts through the IdeaHub and VocAlly platform .
Key Intern Skills & Competencies:
- Analytical Mindset - Intern will g ain hands-on experience in analyzing business data to support decision-making. Intern will develop Power BI level analysis skills.
- Cross-functional c ommunication - Intern will d evelop professional skills in stakeholder communication, business case development, and presentation to leadership.
- Multi-tasking & Prioritization - Intern will l earn how to identify , assess, and propose strategic initiatives aimed at improving digital adoption and reducing friction in the customer journey.
The Skills You Bring
Required qualifications.
- Rising Junior or Senior (during the time of internship) in a full-time undergraduate program.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Available for the full duration of the internship program.
- Eligible to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship from the company now or in the future.
- A passion for the financial services and technology industry is strongly preferred.
Preferred qualifications.
- Previous internship experience or relevant project work is preferred.
- Extracurricular activities/leadership experience is preferred (student organizations, volunteering, sports, part-time roles, etc.).
