Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a BI Reporting developer/ MicroStrategy Developer

Position type: Contract

Job Role: BI Reporting developer/ MicroStrategy Developer

Duration: 12 months (with high possibilities of extension)

Location: Charlotte, NC/ Addison, TX (Hybrid 3 days onsite 2 days remote)

Required Skills
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up various data connections on any of our BI tools (MicroStrategy, Tableau).
Create dashboards and reports using MicroStrategy.
Manage user accounts and server content.
Conduct training to educate users on MicroStrategy.
Design and implement proof of concept solutions and create advanced BI visualizations.
Able to trouble shoot issues including the ability to query databases using SQL.
Ability to gather requirements from Stakeholders and translate them into technical requirements.
Develop impactful presentations and documents, including written training materials.
Self-starter who works with minimal supervision and the ability to work in a team of diverse skill sets.
Able to multi-task and work on multiple requests at a time.
Communicate complex topics to teams through both written and oral communications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
8+ years of BI report development.
5+ years of MicroStrategy experience.
Tableau experience is a plus.
Bachelor's Degree.
Experience working in Agile development process and deep understanding of various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Proficient with BI visualizations
Proficient with writing/modifying/executing SQL queries - one or more of MySQL, Oracle, Impala
Person should be Passionate, Data-centric, and focused individual.
Desire to resolve issues and dive into potential issues.
Ability to adapt and continue to learn new technologies is important.
Strong communication and written skills
Ability to comprehend customer requests and provide the correct solution.
Strong analytical mind to help take on complicated problems.
