Job Details
Job Summary (List Format) for Solutions Architect - Teamcenter:
- Collaborate with local and remote teams to develop and implement Teamcenter PLM solutions.
- Lead installation and upgrade projects for Teamcenter environments in small to large PLM settings.
- Define and design infrastructure architecture for complex Teamcenter implementations.
- Gather and document requirements from business/process subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop technical solutions.
- Configure various Teamcenter modules including BMIDE, BOM Management, Workflows, Access Control, Change Management, Dispatcher, and ERP interfaces.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to Teamcenter including installation, deployment, configuration, and both server-side and client-side problems.
- Implement strategies for PLM/CAD interoperability and integration.
- Develop data and process migration strategies from legacy systems into Teamcenter.
- Perform data modeling and mapping activities, collaborating with developers, DBAs, and data owners.
- Travel to client/customer locations as needed to support projects and implementations.
- Maintain documentation including issues/resolutions, training materials, and FAQs.
- Support and develop Teamcenter workflows and integrations with ERP and CAD systems.
- Work independently and within teams, exercising initiative and ownership of assigned projects.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members, both verbally and in writing.
Qualifications Summary:
- Bachelor's degree required (Computer Science or Engineering preferred).
- Minimum 8 years' experience in engineering/manufacturing industries and hands-on Teamcenter PLM environments.
- Proficient in Teamcenter administration, BMIDE configuration, workflow development, and module support.
- Experience with Teamcenter-ERP and Teamcenter-CAD integrations.
- Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and troubleshooting skills.
- Programming experience (ITK, C, C++, Java, scripting languages) and knowledge of databases, server setups, and performance tuning are a plus.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
