Google Cloud Platform - Data Architect - Phoenix AZ

We are looking for Google Cloud Platform Google Cloud Platform Data Architect for one of our client in Phoenix, AZ. This is long term contract.

Location: Phoenix, AZ or New York NY

Duration: Long term contract

Below is the Job Description.

• 10+ years direct experience working in on Enterprise Data Warehouse technologies
• 5+ Years of cloud big data experience on Google Cloud Platform
• Extensive experience working with Google Cloud Platform Data-related Services such as Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc, BigQuery, Bigtable
• Very strong experience with Google Composer and Apache Airflow; ability to set up, monitor, and debug a complex environment running a large number of concurrent tasks
• Good Exposure to RDBMS / SQL fundamentals
• Exposure to Spark, Hive, Google Cloud Platform Data Fusion, Google Cloud Platform Astronomer, Pub/Sub Messaging, Vertex, and the Python Programming Language
• Experience in understanding a complex customer s existing software workloads and the ability to define a technical migration roadmap to the Cloud.
• Customer facing migration experience (PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch) including service discovery, assessment, planning, execution, and operations.
• Experience in Identity and Access Management, networking, storage and compute infrastructure (servers, databases, firewalls, load balancers) for architecting/Implementing/maintaining cloud solutions
• Experience in design, architecture and implementation of Data warehouses, data pipelines and flows.
• Experience designing and deploying large scale distributed data processing systems with technologies such as MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle etc.
• Experience with application development concepts and technologies (e.g. CI/CD, Java, Python, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Jenkins)
• Demonstrated excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in project governance and enterprise customer management.

Certifications would be a plus:

Google Professional Cloud Architect, Google Professional Data Engineer.
