Network Operations Center Engineer (NOC)

We are seeking a highly motivated NOC Engineer with expertise in containerization, orchestration, and DevOps practices. This role involves monitoring and maintaining the health of our infrastructure while ensuring high availability of services deployed via Docker and Kubernetes, integrated with modern CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot system and network issues quickly, escalating when necessary.
• Manage and support Docker-based Microservices and Kubernetes clusters.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Development teams to improve CI/CD workflows (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, etc.).
• Analyze and resolve infrastructure performance issues, network anomalies, and container/service failures.
• Create and maintain detailed incident reports, root cause analyses, and monitoring documentation.
• Respond to incidents and alerts, managing incident lifecycle including escalation, communication, and resolution.
• Implement and manage automated health checks, monitoring, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes for container management and orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, CircleCI).
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, load balancing).
• Experience with monitoring and logging systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Zabbix, or Datadog).
• Familiarity with incident management tools (PagerDuty, Opsgenie, ServiceNow).
• Comfortable working in Linux-based environments and scripting (Bash, Python preferred).
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including nights and weekends.
