Description
The Epic Resolute Professional Billing (PB) Analyst is responsible for the build, maintenance, optimization, and support of the Epic Resolute PB application. This role supports revenue cycle operations by ensuring accurate billing workflows, resolving system issues, and improving end-user functionality across the organization. The analyst works closely with clinical, financial, and IT stakeholders to ensure the system meets operational and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, test, and maintain components of the Epic Resolute Professional Billing (PB) application to support billing workflows and organizational goals.
Analyze billing processes and translate operational needs into Epic system configuration and workflow enhancements.
Serve as a liaison between Revenue Cycle stakeholders and the IT Epic Applications team.
Collaborate with other Epic application teams to ensure seamless integration and data flow between modules (e.g., Cadence, Prelude, HIM).
Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application issues, user errors, and system bugs; escalate to Epic support as needed.
Develop and maintain documentation including build specifications, test scripts, training materials, and workflows.
Participate in system upgrades, optimization projects, and new feature rollouts.
Perform testing and validation during system changes, upgrades, and new implementations.
Support end-users through training, communication, and issue resolution.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA, billing regulations, and system security protocols.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Informatics, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience working with Epic Resolute Professional Billing (PB) in a healthcare setting
Experience with revenue cycle workflows, especially related to charges, claims, remittances, and denials.
Certification:
Epic Resolute PB Certification required.
Additional Epic certifications (e.g., Resolute HB, Cadence, Prelude) are a plus.
Experience Level
Intermediate Level
