Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Apply your knowledge of PLC, Preventative Maintenance, Process Improvement, Engineering Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Product Development, AutoCAD, Machine Design, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), FEA, DFM/DFA, Control Systems, and Electrical Schematics to drive innovation and improvement in our manufacturing processes.
  • Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing systems by studying product and manufacturing methods.
  • Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new products and improvements to existing products.
  • Use your expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to reduce waste and improve efficiency in our manufacturing processes.
  • Lead product development efforts, including conceptualization, design, prototyping, testing, and production.
  • Use CAD software to create detailed designs and specifications for mechanical equipment and systems.
  • Perform detailed analyses to ensure that designs meet and exceed performance and reliability requirements.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs and support maintenance activities to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in PLC, Preventative Maintenance, Process Improvement, Engineering Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Product Development, AutoCAD, Machine Design, CAD, FEA, DFM/DFA, Control Systems, and Electrical Schematics.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in using CAD software for machine design and product development.
  • Demonstrated experience in control systems and electrical schematics.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging environment.
