Join our dynamic Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE) team, where we champion quality across software development. As a Business Analyst, youll bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, ensuring that requirements are clearly defined, testable, and aligned with strategic goals.
Business Analyst Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering through workshops, interviews, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Document business needs using BRDs, user stories, process flows, and use cases.
- Analyze impacts of change requests, identifying risks, dependencies, and testing scope.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment.
- Decompose business capabilities into actionable features and user stories.
- Support test planning, execution, and defect triage across project phases.
- Champion quality improvements via automation and AI-enhanced testing strategies.
- Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability and testing governance.
- Drive continuous process improvement in test strategy and delivery.
- Assist with defect analysis, knowledge management, and stakeholder communication.
Business Analyst Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst.
- Utility industry experience with systems such as OMS, OUA, GIS, AMI, CC&B, Maximo.
- Proven expertise in requirements elicitation, analysis, and stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and process documentation skills.
- Exceptional communication and facilitation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: IIBA-CBAP, IIBA-CCBA, PMI-PBA.
- Proficiency in tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, ALM, and SQL.
- Familiarity with functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Experience in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance (NERC, PSC, FERC).
- Exposure to GenAI tools and AI-driven testing platforms (e.g., ACCELQ, testRigor).
- Previous experience in a Testing Center of Excellence or QA organization.
