Location: Melbourne FL, Dallas/Frisco TX or Cary, NC (Onsite)

Job Description:

• Process Expertise
  • Deep knowledge of IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM).
  • Strong understanding of Asset Lifecycle (receiving, tagging, discovery, reconciliation, compliance, disposal).
  • Familiar with Configuration Management (CMDB) and how asset data integrates with it.
  • Experience in aligning processes with ITIL practices and corporate standards.
• Tools & Technology Skills
  • Hands-on with Asset Management tools (ServiceNow HAM, Flexera, Snow, BMC Remedy, or similar).
  • Knowledge of asset discovery/reconciliation tools and data management.
  • Able to manage tool customizations, workflows, and reporting.
• Governance & Compliance
  • Understanding of legal and statutory compliance for asset disposal, licensing, warranty, and depreciation.
  • Experience in audit scheduling, compliance reporting, and preventive actions.
• Leadership & Coordination
  • Ability to guide administrative teams (asset receiving/tagging staff).
  • Work with multiple teams: Tool Admins, DBAs, CMDB Owners, Procurement, Vendors, Security Teams.
  • Strong documentation, training, and communication skills.
• Strategic & Analytical
  • Can plan long-term asset management strategy and rollout phases.
  • Strong in SLA/KPI reporting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to standardize policies for software harvesting, asset warranties, support contracts, etc.
