Data AnalystJob Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Data Analyst
for a contract position in Redmond, WA. The opportunity will be ten months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.Position Summary: Purpose of the Team: This role is pivotal in ensuring service reliability, incident hygiene, and systemic issue resolution through structured reviews, data-driven insights, and cross-team collaboration.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

- Facilitate Weekly Incident Reviews, Executive Briefings, and Monthly Service Reviews to assess service health, incident trends, and operational performance.
- Lead Weekly Livesite Review meetings to improve DRI health, product reliability, and operational agility across engineering teams.
- Ensure consistent handoffs and metadata validation across shifts, maintaining high-quality incident records.
- Coordinate and moderate Retrospective Review sessions to ensure quality standards, extract insights, and promote knowledge sharing.
- Drive accountability for repair items and systemic issues through structured postmortem analysis and hygiene enforcement.
- Collaborate with engineering managers and GEMs to ensure retrospectives are completed, reviewed, and aligned with organizational standards.
- Design and maintain dashboards that visualize problem management metrics, incident hygiene, and service health KPIs such as MTTD, MTTR, and fault tolerance.
- Develop telemetry systems and feedback loops to proactively surface issues and guide engineering decisions.
- Integrate real-time data collection and analysis into daily workflows to support predictive monitoring and automated remediation.
Qualifications:
- Years of Experience Required: 2 overall years of experience in the field.
- Degrees or certifications required: A degree in computer science or engineering is preferred but not required for the role
- Minimum 2+ years experience with T-SQL and KQL
- Minimum 2+ years experience with Data analysis and EFT processes
- Minimum 2+ years of experience with Power BI
- Proven experience in service engineering, SRE, or incident management roles.
- Strong understanding of telemetry, operational intelligence, and incident lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in building dashboards using tools like Kusto, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and drive continuous improvement.
- Highly motivated and detail-oriented Service Engineer
Preferred:
- Exceptionally strong communication skills,
Familiarity with companies Substrate and AI platforms.
Experience with Copilot for Service Operations and automated postmortem generation.
Knowledge of incident review forums such as WSR, MSR, and CEN onboarding. - Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on the ability to work in fast-paced environment and the quality of work.
