AEM Content Author

Location/Remote: Onsite in Coppell, TX (100% onsite with the client, with the possibility of one or two remote days per month)

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (CTH) or Straight Contract (W-2/1099), with the intention to convert to permanent employment after 6-months.

Compensation: Up to $42/hour W-2 or $47/hour 1099

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented AEM Content Author to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital content creation, managing CMS content updates, and excellent communication skills. As a content manager, you will provide on-site support and play a crucial role in managing and optimizing digital content within the CMS platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site support for content management.
• Manage prioritization and scheduling of content updates for multiple websites.
• Create and edit digital content for a client website using primarily AEM and Contentful.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the client side and internally to gather content requests and implement them on the website.
• Manage, organize, and optimize digital assets for optimal accessibility and performance.
• Conduct thorough quality checks on all content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any content-related issues within the CMS platforms.
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams as needed for guidance on new page layouts or promotional landing pages.
• Collaborate with SEO to implement best practices and improve the discoverability of digital content.
• Provide occasional support and training to team members on the content authoring processes.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience managing content within a CMS system.
• Proven experience as an AEM Content Author or similar role.
• Strong understanding of Adobe Experience Manager or similar platform.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Bonus Skills:

• Certification in Adobe Experience Manager
• Experience with Contentful or WordPress
• Experience working in Yext
• Familiarity with HTML & CSS
• Familiarity with Photoshop or other image editing software
• Familiarity with web analytics tools and/or Adobe Target
