JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Sr Platform Engineer/Sr Middleware Admin/Architect Job Description - Confluent Kafka:
• 10 years + Minimum working experience
• Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform Cloud offering.
• Ability to collaborate and coordinate with executive management and Enterprise Architecture teams
• Experience with Confluent Kafka
• Experience with Automation / Scripting
- Unix scripting
- Terraform
- Windows scripting – PowerShell / VBScript
• Experience with middleware technologies
• Knowledge of and experience using GitHub
• Strong understanding of virtualization concepts and technologies
• Ability to take full ownership of assigned projects.
• Self-starter and ability to work issues till resolution.
• Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
• Support security policies to ensure integrity of platforms
• Strong General Qualifications: Excellent organization, oral and written communications skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience working in a large team.
• Ability to collaborate and coordinate with executive management and Enterprise Architecture teams
• Good design, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities and the ability to understand end user experience.
• Naturally takes ownership of projects and drives them to completion with high-quality outcomes.
