Must work on our W2 Location: Oak Brooks, IL (Hybrid) + Possibility of some trips to Baltimore or Philly on occasion.

Role Overview:
The Data Governance project is to implement the DG model in the business teams and the analyst for this project will need to understand Data Governance and be comfortable working with Data Owners and training data stewards.
The Business/Functional Analyst will play a key role in supporting the planning, requirements gathering, and documentation for the Accelerate Enterprise Data Governance project at Exelon. This role will collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT, facilitate workshops, gather and document requirements, and help define and refine data governance processes, frameworks, and implementation plans. The Analyst will also support change management and training activities to ensure successful adoption of data governance practices and tools (notably Collibra). This is a client-facing role that requires strong communication and organizational skills.
Role Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and engage data owners, stewards, and other stakeholders. Facilitate workshops to assess current state and gather requirements.
- Requirements Gathering: Collect and document business, technical, and non-functional requirements for data governance, metadata cataloging, data quality, security, and Collibra enablement.
- Process Documentation: Assist in the development and sustainment of data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures. Document and manage data lineage, ensuring a clear understanding of data flow and dependencies. Work with key stakeholders to identify critical data elements.
- Use Case Development Support: Identify and prioritize data governance use cases and critical data elements (CDEs) by domain.
- Change Management Support: Assist the client (as needed) in developing training materials, change impact assessments, and adoption metrics in collaboration with the Organizational Change Management (OCM) team.
Preferred Experience:
- Collibra Platform: Experience with Collibra Data Intelligence Platform and Data Quality modules is highly desirable.
- Utilities/Energy Sector: Prior experience in the utilities or energy sector and understanding of regulatory requirements related to data governance and privacy is a plus.
- Programming Experience: Experience with database management programing languages (e.g. SQL) and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI)
Skill Requirements:
To excel as a Data Analyst on the Collibra implementation project, candidates should possess a blend of technical expertise, analytical acumen, and collaborative capabilities, including:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders and successfully prepare, develop and present executive level briefings
- Ability to engage resources outside of direct control to achieve objectives
- Proficiency in MS Office, Visio, and project management tools.
- Familiar with areas of Data Governance and Data Management
- Understanding of data tools (cleansing, Master Data Management, Metadata, etc.)
- Experience with metrics gathering, tracking, and reporting
- Experience in Project Management and Collaboration (e.g. MPP)
