Job Details
Job Description:
- Establish Team Practices with company s Scrum and Agile Practices
- Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups
- Manage backlog health and work intake into the backlog
- Coach team members in Agile frameworks, Scrum Practices
- Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
- Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
- Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
- Help teams implement changes effectively
- Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
- Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity
Responsibilities:
- Leading the team: Leading the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices
- Helping the team: Helping the product owner and development team achieve customer satisfaction
- Removing impediments: Resolving team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization
- Coaching the team: Coaching and supporting Agile teams assigned to mainly Business as Usual (BAU) work
- Supporting events: Facilitating and supporting all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective
- Resolving issues: Resolving conflicts and issues that occur
- Supporting the product owner: Providing education where needed
Qualifications: Required:
- 6+ years working in an agile environment as a development team member, Scrum Master or Product Owner
- 5+ years working as a Scrum Master
- Expert in facilitation, problem solving and influencing outcomes
- Expert knowledge of best practices in value driven development (requirements management, prototyping, hypothesis driven development, usability testing).
- Expert knowledge of agile tool suites including Atlassian, Agility Health Radar, MS Teams or similar agile management & tooling.
Desired:
- Demonstrated experience with large-scale enterprise agile transformation with experience as a Scrum Master in a scaled environment
- Scrum Master and Agile Certifications
Education:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required
