Validation Specialist (SAP and Open Text)

Job Title: Validation Specialist (with Technical Writing Expertise)- SAP & OpenText

Location: Raritan, NJ

Duration: 6-12 months contract

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled professional with hands-on experience in SAP and OpenText systems to support a testing and validation project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive test cases, creating a robust validation plan, and compiling all necessary technical documentation and evidence to support compliance and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop test cases for SAP and OpenText workflows.
• Create and maintain a validation plan aligned with project goals and regulatory standards.
• Execute system and functional testing, document results, and track defects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather validation evidence.
• Act as a technical writer to compile test results, screenshots, logs, and other artifacts into structured documentation.
• Ensure traceability and completeness of validation deliverables.
• Support audit readiness by maintaining organized and accessible documentation.

Required Skills

• Proven experience with SAP (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC) and OpenText platforms.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and validation processes.
• Experience in technical writing, especially in regulated environments.
• Familiarity with tools for test management and documentation (e.g., HP ALM, Jira, Confluence).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
