Job Details

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with hands-on experience in Google BigQuery to join our data engineering team. You will be responsible for developing data pipelines, integrating cloud-based services, optimizing queries, and supporting analytics and reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, experience with large datasets, and a passion for scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Python and BigQuery.

  • Write optimized SQL queries for data extraction and transformation in BigQuery.

  • Integrate APIs, cloud services (especially Google Cloud Platform), and third-party tools as needed.

  • Automate data workflows and schedule jobs using tools like Cloud Composer (Airflow).

  • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data needs.

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across systems.

  • Implement data quality checks and monitoring.

  • Document technical processes and maintain clean, readable code.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3+ years of experience in Python development.

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Google BigQuery and SQL.

  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

  • Experience working in cloud environments, especially Google Cloud Platform.

  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
