Application Security Engineer Location: Remote, USA (must be currently residing in the United States)
Contract Position: 6 months

Their solutions help strengthen resilience while aligning security with core business priorities. We are seeking an experienced Application Security Engineer to support high profile client project. The role involves collaborating with developers to review vulnerabilities, ensure security by design, and strengthen application security posture.

Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in Python and Terraform
  • Proven experience in application security and vulnerability remediation
  • Ability to guide developers in implementing secure coding practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and remediate vulnerabilities in applications, infrastructure, and pipelines
  • Collaborate with developers to integrate security by design into new and existing applications
  • Develop and maintain security scripts/tools in Python and Go (GoLang) to automate testing and remediation
  • Review Terraform configurations to ensure secure infrastructure-as-code practices
  • Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments to identify potential security gaps
  • Provide security guidance and best practices to engineering teams
