Entry-Level Distribution Engineer
POWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking an Entry-Level Distribution Engineer for the Power Delivery Distribution Department in Ft Mill, SC.

POWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking an Entry-Level Distribution Engineer for the Power Delivery Distribution Department in Ft Mill, SC.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform distribution design, basic engineering calculations, as well as a variety of other tasks as assigned by utility clients
- Distribution design typically includes, but not limited to, field data collection, physical design, electrical design, and developing a bill of materials
- An engineering degree, from an ABET-accredited university, preferably with a power option
- Must have strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnel
- Strong knowledge and understanding of electrical engineering upon which to build
- Must be able to successfully pass the client's background screening process
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- A BSEE, BSEET, or BSME degree, from an ABET-accredited university, preferably with a power option
- A basic understanding of overhead and underground distribution circuits
- Engineer in Training certificate (EIT) or ability to obtain one upon hiring
- Internship or co-op experience with a utility
- Manage multiple tasks and work effectively with different personalities
- Travel should be expected
