The System/Solution Architect is responsible for developing business, data, systems, and infrastructure models to support COTS or Non-COTS application architectures deployed in mid-range client server and mainframe environments.
Develops plans for maintaining architectures. Ensures adherence to CMS technical reference models to include hardware/software standards. Engineer's integrated hardware and software solutions to meet mission requirements. Ensures architecture meets requirements needs based on compliance with appropriate IT organization and project standards, user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms. May develop specifications, prototypes, or initial user guides. It is required that the Systems Architect have the following qualifications: Key Personnel Position Experience Level Description

• At minimum of seven (7+) years' experience performing architecture related work on at least two (2) IT systems.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or other related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, plan and execute architecture strategies and to perform feasibility studies and integration analyses.

It is desirable that the Systems/Solution Architect have the following:

• Experience supervising and providing guidance in implementing various mid-range architectures and supporting large-scale applications.
• Experience leading and direct the work of other IT professionals.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and consensus-building skills with demonstrated ability to present material effectively to all levels of personnel.
• Knowledge of CMS IT Architecture and Standards.
• Experience on below technologies is desirable:
• Front-end: Angular, JavaScript
• Application: Spring Boot, Microservices, Camunda for process orchestration, Elasticsearch
• ETL: Apache NiFi
• Database: PostgreSQL
• Environment/Infrastructure: AWS, Container, Kubernetes, Ngnix,
• Languages: Java, JavaScript

Reporting: Cognos, Business Object, Case Management experience is a big plus.
