A client of Innova Solutions is looking for a Lead Consultant Sr GenAI Engineer

Position Type: Contract

Location: Canada-Remote

As a Lead Consultant Sr GenAI Engineer, you will:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Seeking Lead Consultant and Senior GenAI Engineer to architect and deliver enterprise-grade GenAI solutions at the intersection of AI, data engineering, and cloud platforms.
  • You will work with top-tier FSI and capital markets clients to modernize decision-making, risk management, and compliance through agentic AI, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and secure cloud-native architectures.
  • This role combines hands-on technical depth, domain expertise in FSI, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams from ideation to production.

Key Responsibilities:

AI Architecture & GenAI Engineering

  • Architect and implement GenAI solutions using OpenAI, LangChain, LangGraph, and RAG architectures
  • Design and orchestrate agentic pipelines with autonomous task execution, agent tuning, and feedback loops
  • Develop AI workflows with prompt engineering, retrieval integration, and validation checkpoints for safety and compliance
  • Deploy OCR/NLP models for extracting insights from earnings reports, filings, and customer communications

Data & System Architecture

  • Lead system architecture design across APIs, databases, and AI services
  • Architect AI-native data fabrics and Lakehouse solutions using Databricks, Delta Lake, and PySpark
  • Enable seamless integration of GenAI models with structured databases, real-time data pipelines, and financial applications
  • Define architecture patterns that support FSI-grade data governance, lineage, and explainability

MLOps & Delivery

  • Implement MLOps pipelines for model lifecycle management, versioning, and CI/CD
  • Build compliance-ready model validation frameworks aligned with financial regulatory standards
  • Deploy scalable and auditable solutions using Azure Machine Learning, ADF, GitHub Actions, and Terraform

Use Case Development in FSI

  • Deliver high-value AI solutions in risk modeling, client onboarding, AML/KYC, investment research, and regulatory reporting
  • Leverage GenAI and RAG to improve customer interaction, trade intelligence, and automated documentation

Collaboration & Client Integration

  • Work closely with data scientists, risk officers, quants, and platform teams to align on business value and compliance
  • Present findings, architecture decisions, and POCs to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Technical Skills Required

  • 10+ years experience on Azure with strong command of data and AI services
  • 5+ years working with Databricks, including Delta Lake, PySpark, DLT, and SQL-based modeling
  • Strong Python skills and familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI APIs, and LLM orchestration
  • Expertise in MLOps, including deployment pipelines, model governance, rollback mechanisms
  • Proven ability to integrate models with structured/transactional data systems
  • Experience with Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or equivalent orchestration tools

Pay Range*: $65- $75 Per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
