POSITION SUMMARY and SKILLS :
ServiceNow Platform Expertise
Understanding of ServiceNow architecture (tables, scripts, workflows, ACLs, etc.).
Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB).
Experience with ServiceNow App Engine for custom applications.
Scripting & Development
JavaScript (primary language for scripting in ServiceNow).
Glide API (Glide Record, GlideSystem, GlideAjax, etc.).
Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Workflow Scripts.
Service Portal development using AngularJS, HTML, CSS.
Integration with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
Configuration & Administration
Configuring Workflows, Flow Designer, and Automation Rules.
Setting up Forms, Fields, and UI Actions.
Managing Access Control Rules (ACLs).
Understanding Service Catalog & Request Management.
ITSM & ITIL Knowledge
Familiarity with ITIL best practices (especially Incident, Change, Problem, and Asset Management).
Experience with SLA configurations and notifications.
Integration & Automation
Integration Hub for no-code/low-code integrations.
Orchestration for automating IT tasks.
MID Server for integrations with on-premise systems.
Performance & Troubleshooting
Debugging tools like Script Debugger and System Logs.
Optimizing performance of scripts and queries.
Managing and maintaining Instance Health.
Security & Compliance
Role-based Access Control (RBAC).
Data protection and encryption.
Compliance with governance frameworks.
Reporting & Analytics
Creating Dashboards, Reports, and Performance Analytics.
Knowledge of CMDB reporting and SLA tracking.
