Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced SAP SuccessFactors QA Tester to support testing efforts across multiple modules of an enterprise-wide SuccessFactors implementation. The tester will be responsible for developing test plans, executing test cases (manual and/or automated), logging defects, and ensuring the quality and stability of SuccessFactors functionality-including Employee Central, Recruiting, Learning, and Performance & Goals.

Duties:

  • Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and technical requirements.

  • Conduct system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for SAP SuccessFactors modules.

  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.

  • Perform data validation, workflow verification, and role-based access testing.

  • Document and log defects, track resolution, and retest to ensure issues are resolved.

  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and internal teams to ensure cross-system integration testing is thorough.

  • Prepare test summary reports and ensure compliance with testing standards and QA documentation protocols.

  • Participate in go-live readiness assessments and post-implementation validation activities.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of QA/testing experience in SAP SuccessFactors implementations.

  • Hands-on experience testing Employee Central and at least one other module (e.g., Recruiting, Learning, Performance & Goals).

  • Strong understanding of HR business processes, workflows, and role-based permissions.

  • Experience with integration testing across SAP/non-SAP systems (e.g., Payroll, Benefits, ERP).

  • Proficient in test management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or Zephyr.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and documentation practices.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience working on public sector or higher education HRIS projects.

  • Familiarity with New York State or New York City systems and compliance requirements.

  • Knowledge of SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) and how integrations affect SuccessFactors functionality.

  • Experience with test automation tools is a plus (Tosca, Selenium, etc.).

  • SAP SuccessFactors testing or implementation certification(s) a plus.
