Job Description:

  • Title: Client Field Engineer
  • Location: 1001 Cherry Blossom Way, Georgetown, KY, 40324
  • Remote/On-site/Hybrid: On-site from day 1
  • Local or non-local: Local candidates priority

  • Working hours: Standard
  • Duration: 12 months with a possibility of extension
  • Bachelor s degree: Must have only in Civil Engineering
  • Overtime: Yes, up to 60hrs/week including weekdays, weekends, shutdown, and holidays
  • Travel: Yes
  • What percentage or how often: 50%
  • Where will they need to travel: Domestic
  • If International, to/from which countries: No
  • IF travel would be scheduled more than 3 months dispatch would be available: No
  • Experience level: 5 or more years (ideally 10 years)

Job Description:
Reason for Request:
  • E&F needs an CS Field Engineer to support TMMK Projects
  • Detailed Description of Responsibilities:
  • Serve as "Subject Matter Expert" related to Civil, Structural systems.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to develop project criteria, scope, estimate and project schedules.
  • Provide internal review of CS system drawings from outside engineering firms to support system implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with related local, state, national codes, facility operations and Our Client standards.
  • Shop drawing review, RFI processing and Kanban completion for Client systems.
  • Coordination of weekend and plant shutdown work with contractors, plant facilities groups, and manufacturing groups.
  • Conduct work progress inspections on a continuous basis.
  • Support construction administration activities related to schedule coordination, quality confirmations, weekly coordination meetings, and planned utility outages.
  • Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years in construction management. (Industrial/Commercial Building) - MUST HAVE
  • Experience in design criteria development for Civil Structural systems.
  • Automotive experience with engine, transmission, or vehicle facilities or similar industrial manufacturer.
  • 5+ years in Civil design field.
  • Good organizational skills, communication skills, schedule management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project
  • Additional Desired Qualifications:
  • Bluebeam, AutoCAD
